Mayte Ramirez-Calderon

I am a Senior at Florida Atlantic University majoring in Computer Science. I enjoy problem solving and focusing on data structures and algorithms using mainly C++ and Java. My past experiences include working with Red Ventures as a summer technology fellow, developing a beta web application, and creating a sorting algorithm visualizer as a personal project. As a Latina in S.T.E.M, I hope to continue to grow and excel in my career as a Software Engineer.

Interests

Apart from becoming a software engineer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors and traveling when I can. As a Florida native, I spend most of my time at the beach, pool, or Disney World all year round.

When forced indoors, I enjoy watching a variety of movies, shows, and animes across all genres. My favorites include The Social Network, New Girl, and My Hero Academia.
